    Eternal promises !

    Searching the Scriptures

Your word is fully proven, and your servant loves it. Psalm 119.140

What a splendid truth ! The word of God has been fully tested. It is not made only of theories, nor of abstract theology, it passes the test of life and circumstances. I wish to give my personal testimony on this subject.

It has been almost 40 years that I have lived according to God's promises, I have experienced them in many different circumstances : during war, famine, disease, loneliness, mourning, misunderstandings.

For every need that arises in our lives, there is a word of God, and these words are tried, they really work. You've probably had the experience of someone making a promise to you and not keeping it. You have felt betrayed, hurt, disappointed, but I want to assure you of one thing, when God makes a promise, He keeps it. Millions of people around the world can attest to you that God still keeps his Word today and that his promises are reliable because they have experienced it in their own lives.

Don't be discouraged if people have let you down, don't become bitter or resentful, it won't help you, but turn your gaze to God, look at His faithfulness. Focus on its promises, and you will find that they have been tested and proven.

    Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God means. What promises has God placed in your heart ?

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Lord, your word does not return to you without having accomplished what you wish. Help me to keep trust in you even when I do not see anything."

    Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a moment to thank the Lord.

    Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

    Honor the Lord

Our route for the day comes to an end. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Thank you Lord for Jesus is the 'yes' you give to all your promises. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
