It is written !

John 8.51 – If anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.

There are so many words in this world. We are surrounded by voices that rise above each other, offering us all kinds of destructive messages. Our Lord Jesus invites us to keep his Word, that is to take care of it carefully, with the promise never to see death, this not only referring to eternal life, but also to work of spiritual death awaiting us.

You know, spiritual warfare takes place above all in our head, that is to say in the universe of our thoughts ! The devil harasses us with words of death causing fear, depression, anguish, insecurity, anger, hatred, envy, sadness... wanting to take control of our souls weighed down by worries in any kind.

The only remedy that I know of to emerge victorious from this fierce battle is to nourish ourselves with the Word of God. If we never open our Bible, or very little, we will not be able to face this scourge, because it is essential that the words of this marvelous book take root in us, that they are inscribed in the deepest of our being to come to life.

We will never achieve victory if we try to argue with the enemy of our soul. The only effective "insecticide" against his parasitic words is to quote him what our God has said. There is nothing more reliable in the universe than the words that came from the mouth of the Eternal God !

When the devil comes to offer you all his panoply of negative feelings through his speeches, the only correct, saving and unshakable answer will be : “It is written !". You know, God wrote about you, He wrote you a testament, a covenant, promises... Dive quickly into the Word to see what He is telling you today and above all do not hesitate to proclaim His words loud and clear !
