It's not blah !

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no evil word come out of your mouth, but some good word, if there is one, which will serve for edification and impart grace to those who hear it.

It’s surprising how the children of God don’t pay attention to the way they speak. I think it's because you don't realize the power behind the lyrics.

Say you go to the doctor. This one tells you : "We have diagnosed a tumor". How is that a "you die" ? Already a spirit of death is hovering over your head. Just kidding, but hardly !

Solomon said that we are what we think (Proverbs 23:7), and what we think will soon be translated into words. These words will quickly become convictions. These beliefs are the famous strongholds of which the apostle Paul speaks (2 Corinthians 10:4 and 5). So if I have blockages, curse, no promise coming true for me... I don't automatically have to always blame the adversary ; probably by analyzing my way of speaking, I will realize the problem.

The counsel of the Word of God today is, "Let no evil word come out of your mouth" ! No judgment, denigration, defeatism... on your life. Instead, speak good words that uplift you first. Words that communicate a grace to you ! There is no question here of "brushing your navel" with positive thinking, rather, it is enough to say the Words of God over our life; a way of prophesying the future that God has in store for us.

And if these bad words about you have been spoken by others, know that one day the Lord will fix the problem. We were, Corinne and I, in a meeting where no one knew us. A couple came to pray for us without our asking anything. Their prayer was : “Lord, we break in your Name all the words of condemnation that have been spoken about this couple !".
