    Moral and spiritual blindness

They're the blind leading the blind : if a blind leads a blind, they'll both fall into a ditch. Matthew 15.14

While moral blindness is of a different order from physical blindness, it should not be overlooked. Conflicts, wars, and ecological disasters have taken place, and will continue to occur, through the blindness of the leaders of nations and businesses. Families are torn apart because at least one spouse leads his life without the will to seek what is good and good for the home. Finally, on a personal level, how many people destroy their own lives by leading it in spite of what is good for them.

Before we accuse God of all evil, let's see if we have neglected our own responsibilities !

The Bible denounces the faults that we commit and from which we suffer, but points out the real problem : behind this blindness and all the evil that results from it, there is the fall of humanity in relation to the divine will, there is the peach.

Let’s not deny the confusion that arises from our blindness, let’s admit that certain decisions, certain ways of leading our life are inspired by our hearts trapped in darkness. But let us know that a light can arise : God opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146.8) that we are all on different levels.

Do you want to receive this light ? Read the Bible with faith in what it offers you. Turn to the light of God : your whole life will be illuminated, and changed !

Proposed reading : Gospel according to John, chapter 1, verses 1 to 9.

1.1 In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God and the Word was God.

1.2 She was in the beginning with God.

1.3 Everything was done by her and nothing that was done was done without her.

1.4 In her there was life and this life was the light of human beings.

1.5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not received it.

1.6 There was a man sent by God, his name was John.

1.7 He came as a witness to bear witness about the light that all might believe on him.

1.8 He was not the light, but he came to bear witness about the light.

1.9 This light was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every human being.
