Nothing will be like before !

During the terrible Covid-19 pandemic which began at the end of 2019, the greatest doctors, politicians, sociologists, economists and many other experts sought the origin of the virus, its remedy, the best ways to avoid not be contaminated. All expressed differing opinions, but all agreed in saying : "Nothing will be like before".

This pandemic has had consequences on our lifestyles, thoughts, on a personal level, but also on society as a whole. Yet this event, as significant as it is for those who lived through it, may end up not being a date in the history books, like the tsunami of 2004, the Spanish flu of 1918, the two world wars, or the black plague of the Middle Ages.

On the other hand, you certainly know the most important event in the whole history of the world, an event which had a before, a during, an after, and of which one could say with good reason : Nothing will be like before. No, it's not one of those horrible disasters that claimed so many victims!

On the contrary, it is an event that has given eternal life and happiness to millions of human beings, but which has cost an infinite price for God. It is the death of Jesus Christ and his glorious resurrection. Everything changed then. The problem of sin has been solved, death has been overcome. For those who believed in that, for you who believe in the work of Jesus, for me, nothing is as before, we have passed from death to eternal life !
