    Lord, you hear...

He who has fixed the ear, will he not hear ? He who formed the eye, would he not see ? Psalm 94.9

God does not manifest himself to us in a visible way since he is Spirit. So we can mistakenly think that it is inaccessible and indifferent to what we are or experience. However, throughout the Bible, he reveals himself as a God who cares about us and wants to bless us in his presence. Of course he needs neither ears nor eyes to know us. If he uses our vocabulary, it is to better convince us of all his concern for us. Thus he sees us : The Eternal looks down from heaven, he sees all men. […] He who shaped the hearts of all of them, he is attentive to all their actions. (Psalm 33.13-15)

Likewise, when we turn to him humbly in prayer, he hears us : You hear the desires of those who suffer, Eternal, you give them courage, you give ear... (Psalm 10:17)

Like the psalmist, this should encourage us to entrust ourselves to him : I love the Eternal, for he hears my voice, my supplications. Yes, he leaned his ear to me and I will call on him all my life. (Psalm 116.1-2) We can be sure that he is thinking of us : The Eternal remembers us... he will bless those who fear the Eternal, young and old. (Psalm 115:12-13) God draws near to those who come to him with a sincere heart. Do not hesitate to contact him !
