The key to owning the promised land

Searching the Scriptures

In reality, it is he who made us ; we were created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2.10

God wants to lead you to your promised land... Because you are a new creature in Christ, born again ; so you can fully live the life God has planned for you. But in order for you to follow him in this life, God is going to have to prepare you first, making some changes.

Now don't be afraid of the word "change" ; it just means that you stop doing the things you were doing before and start doing what you haven't done before. For example : stop harboring negative thoughts and start thinking positively ; stop hiding in your comfort zone and get out of your boat ; stop procrastinating and start seizing opportunities as they arise.

It is not enough to read and talk about the Promised Land, but to decide to own it! God is good ; he will take you there. Just be prepared to follow him and embrace the positive changes God wants to make in your life as he prepares you to be a blessing to others.

Listen to the voice of God

Let’s take the time to listen to what God means. Ask God what changes he wants to make in your life, so that you can fully enter your "promised land".

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example prayer : "Holy Spirit, show me the changes I must make in my life to take possession of the promised land. Amen."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. What are your subjects of recognition today ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, thank you for preparing me to be a blessing to others and to enter into your destiny for me. Yours is the reign and the power and the glory, amen !"
